Kuldasheva Zebo is an associate professor in the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations at Tashkent State University of Economics. She earned a master’s degree from Central China Normal University in 2018 and a Ph.D. in Regional Economics from Wuhan University in 2023. Her doctoral research focused on the Belt and Road Initiative and its impact on the economies of Central Asia. During her Ph.D. studies, she received several prestigious international awards, including the Outstanding International Student Award and the Presidential Scholarship at Wuhan University.
Zebo has a strong publication record, having authored several high-quality papers in top-tier journals indexed by the Web of Science and Scopus, particularly in environmental economics. She is also an academic editor for the prestigious American journal PLOS ONE.
With fluency in five languages, including Chinese, Zebo has extensive international experience, having studied abroad for eight years and participated in various academic collaborations. She is actively involved in organizing international events and has been instrumental in securing scholarships for students in summer schools at top Chinese universities.
